Fox River Fallen Tree

Janice Czerwinski / Comment on this

Burning red and orange bushes leaning toward a couple fallen trees reflecting back their beauty on the river surface.  I spent a couple of cool October mornings sitting alone the Fox River painting this scene.  Flannel shirt, gloves and a blanket to keep me warm as I sat on the paved path to paint.  Life is good!

I captured this composition while on a retreat at Silver Birch Ranch in Wisconsin.
