A Little More Light

A Solo Exhibition of Original Oil Paintings by Janice Czerwinski

October 26 – December 30, 2026

As the days grow shorter and we spend more time indoors, art can bring warmth, beauty and a welcome sense of calm to everyday life.

I invite you to experience A Little More Light, my solo exhibition of original oil paintings at Deane's Market and Deli in downtown Geneva, Illinois.

This collection brings together coastal scenes, boats and florals, each inspired by the beauty of the natural world and the changing effects of light. Through expressive brushwork, rich color and the movement of paint, I aim to capture not only a place, but the feeling of being there. My hope is that these paintings offer a moment of pause, a connection to places you love, and something beautiful to return to each day.

The exhibition will be on display from October 26 through December 30. Whether you are discovering my work for the first time or are already a collector, I hope you will take time to experience the paintings in person.

Artist Reception | Sunday, November 29

11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Join me for a special afternoon at Deane's. I'll be demonstrating my oil painting process and will be available to answer questions about my work, share insights into my approach to painting, and meet with visitors and collectors. I look forward to connecting with you and sharing more about the inspiration behind the paintings.

Original paintings will be available for purchase throughout the exhibition. You can explore the collection and access purchasing information using the QR codes provided on each painting at the exhibition.
